John Ostermiller – Business Administrator
John has served as the Business Administrator of LUMC since July of 2008. His career prior to retiring in 2006 includes financial, administrative and operational executive positions, primarily for the cable TV and telecommunication industries. John’s experience also includes serving on city council and as mayor of Littleton, and 20 years on the City’s Planning Commission. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of the South Suburban Park and Recreation District and is a board member of the Littleton Housing Authority. John holds a BS degree in Business from Colorado State University and an MBA Degree from the University of Denver. John and his wife Terry were married at LUMC in 1968 and have two grown daughters and six grandchildren.

What’s your favorite local eatery and what’s your go to menu item?
McKinner’s Pizza Bar in downtown Littleton is my favorite local eatery and the go to item is the “Oystermiller” pizza named for yours truly. It has the perfect blend of smoked oysters and Italian sausage.
What do you like most about working at LUMC?
Each day is different and brings new challenges, joys and opportunities.
What’s your favorite song or piece of music?
No favorite song – I love “easy listening” music.
What’s your elevator speech for your ministry?
I am responsible for the financial and facilities management of the church and its properties. On the financial side, I pay all the bills, handle the payroll for 39 employees, record all of the donations to the church by individual, and prepare all of the monthly financial statements. Facilities management includes the supervision of the custodial staff, management of the contractors providing services to LUMC and I oversee the use of the facilities by church and community groups.
What are your favorite things to do when you have free time?
Travel (especially road trips), golf and reading
