Encore Players Drama
Each year Encore makes thoughtful selections to perform from a wide variety of theatrical works which underscore God's relevance in the world. Opportunities exist for people of all ages to use their creative talents in multiple aspects of theater production including producing, directing, acting, singing and dancing, set design and construction, costuming, stage management, sound, lighting, and publicity.
12/13/19 - "It's a Wonderful Life" a staged reading by Chris Willard
1/21/20 - "Shoemaker's Dream" Terrific Tuesday performance
Encore welcomes everyone and is one fo the few cross-age church activities with casts of people from ages 5 - 88. There is great energy in working as a group to reach a common goal while also discovering new talents and building people's confidence.

As a family, we love being part of the Encore theatre ministry. It has provided a safe and fun place to share, grow and discover our talents and gifts all while being surrounded by, and encouraging, a caring, loving, giving community.

“Being a part of the Encore Player Ministry is being part of a supportive community that fosters exploration through community theater. I've seen players in their 70's trying acting for the first time. I've seen 3 year olds expressing themselves through song and dance. Everyone has a place (on stage or behind the curtain) in our ministry. THIS MINISTRY HAS NO BOUNDARIES! ”
