Questions and Answers with Lisa
What’s one thing a visitor to LUMC needs to know?
That LUMC is an alive church. We are a living, breathing entity that thrives on the energy of the people who become involved.
What’s your favorite local eatery and what’s your go to menu item?
I really enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich at Merle’s but I’m more likely to spend time at Chick-Filet with Quinn having a number one with diet lemonade while she plays.
What do you like most about working at LUMC?
I love knowing I’m a part of a community that cares deeply for one another. I love that I was welcomed in as both a member, a parent and a staff member within a very short time-span.
What’s your favorite song or piece of music?
Rhapsody in Blue and Claire de Lune make my heart happy but Taylor Swift sure does drop a catchy tune. I love having music playing wherever I am.
What’s your elevator speech for your ministry?
Children and youth involved in church programs are more likely to be life time people of faith and may be less likely to struggle with the temptations that life will inevitably throw at them.
What’s your favorite thing to do when you have free time?
I love to have impromptu dance parties with my daughter and husband. We drive in the mountains and foothills a lot exploring our new home of Colorado and loving every mile of it!
