Questions and Answers with Rev. Mary Beth
What’s one thing a visitor to LUMC needs to know before attending?
LUMC is a community of hospitality and love.
At LUMC, a visitor will find individuals with all kinds of theological perspectives. Not everyone agrees theologically and LUMC members like it that way. A visitor will find more conservative theology and more progressive theology, as well as everything in between. These theological differences lead to a dynamic faith community full of people who are willing to learn and grow in their spirituality.
What the people of LUMC agree on unequivocally is the love and grace of Jesus. Jesus’ love and grace is the vehicle through which LUMC members live, work, and serve in the church building and beyond.

I work with the ministry Open Space Littleton. It is a new community that meets at Jake’s Brew Bar the first Monday of the month. It’s a safe place for all to talk about faith without judgment, as well as work for justice for all people.
