About Us

Welcome!  Established in 1890, LUMC has been a foundational force within Littleton. We are an inclusive community of faith, accepting people as they are, growing toward fullness of life with God’s creation through living the teachings of Jesus Christ:  Grace, Love, Acceptance and Hope.

Join us in person in the Sanctuary or on-line for worship at 10:30 A.M. on Sundays, with replays available later in the week. Replays include the whole service, or you may watch just the anthem or message.

Meet our Pastors

Rev. Dr. Tom Barlow is an Ordained Elder in the Mountain Sky Conference of the United Methodist Church. He has served churches in Wyoming and Colorado, and has studied at Colorado Christian University, Asbury Theological Seminary (KY), and holds a Doctorate in Religious Studies from the Joint Doctoral Program at the Iliff School of Theology and the University of Denver. He presently lives in the Denver area with his wife, Kirsten, who is also an Ordained Elder serving in parish ministry. Kirsten and Tom understand their ministry to involve service to God’s creation, and an important part of their work involves providing “forever homes” to rescued Shelties.

Rev. Amos is an ordained elder in the Mountain Sky Conference of the United Methodist Church and has served churches in Longmont, Western Slope, and Wheat Ridge.  A former school teacher, he studied at St Paul’s University (Kenya),  Columbia Seminary (GA), United Seminary (OH), and the Joint Doctoral Program at the Iliff School of Theology and University of Denver (CO).  Rev. Amos is the associate pastor and oversees the Congregational Care and Senior Adult Ministries, Adult Educational Groups, our New Member program, and more.  With his wife Njeri (Jeri) they are blessed with three children and one grand-child.  In his free time he takes walks at Washington Park if the weather permits and also listens to music.
